the Joy of Cottage-City Charters of Martha's Vineyard

 We have been visiting Martha’s Vineyard for two decades.  We make it a priority of cruising with Captain Lou and also getting our sailing fix with Captain Kurt of Catboat Charters.  Spending a couple hours on the water with Lou or Kurt are our best family moments on Island.  

We enjoyed a wonderful sunset cruise with the bonus of a full moon rise in the east just as the sun had set in the west!  The boat was perfect for our group of six.  I would highly recommend Cottage City Charters if you are looking for an awesome on-water vineyard experience!  

You are in good hands with Captain Lou.  He seems to know every maritime nook and cranny of the region.  Fun-loving, upbeat, knowledgeable and professional. We enjoyed a memorable cruise and can’t recommend enough.

Not your usual charter trip! We were heading over to the Vineyard for a summer weekend and one of my friends decided to surprise us by having captain Lou pick us up in Woods Hole rather than taking the ferry. We had laughs, drinks, and appetizers at the Landfall while watching a fabulous sunset. On the way home in the twilight, we had a detour around beautiful Hadley Harbor. So fun enjoying Lou’s great mix of marine knowledge, local history, and Island hospitality.  

Cottage City  Charters is a great way to see the Vineyard.  We hosted a family  gathering on the Island and decided to take our peeps out for a cruise.   We launched from Vineyard Haven and motored slowly around the harbor,  between East and West Chop, and into the Vineyard Sound to watch the sunset.  All while enjoying our favorite cold drinks and snacks.  Viewing the  island from the water is a wonderful experience and everyone  had a  great time.
